  1. The Summer Jam at Watkins Glen was a rock festival which once received the Guinness Book of World Records entry for "Largest audience at a pop festival." An estimated , rock fans came to the Watkins Glen Grand Prix Raceway outside Watkins Glen, New York on July 28, , to see the Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead and The Band perform.
  2. These recordings were done for a TV show called Chicago Blues Jam. I think there are more than a dozen releases in this series. This time Fenton shares a CD with the James Harman Band. The JSP cuts from Burnley were recorded at the festival and you can hear Fenton interact with the audience. I know people who saw the show.
  3. Various • Not the Same Old Blues Crap It takes some cojones to put this title on a label collection, and Matthew Johnson’s Fat Possum is just the one to do it. 4. May 01,  · This set features two live sides from the Burnley show, Sonny Boy Williamson’s Help Me and T-Bone Walker’s Stormy Monday and four originals recorded for the BBC’s Paul Jones Rhythm & Blues Show. May saw Fenton return to Europe, wowing a packed Belgian festival crowd with a contemporary blues set backed by the Son Seals Blues Band.

  6. Sophisticated, but still deeply Blues as guitarist, singer and songwriter - and happily for me, a man who did not disappoint on arrival, either musically or as a genuinely nice guy. Tracks 5 and 6 here are live at the Burnley Blues Festival in - Fenton cuts loose and so obviously feels comfortable.5/5(1).
